Who Can Join?

You! Parents, Step-Parents, Foster Parents, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Caregivers, Teachers, Staff Members, School Administrators, Law Enforcement Officers, Community Leaders, Community Business Owners and friends are encouraged to join. Memberships are individual (not per family) and are specific to each school. Now, more than ever, our schools rely on parents to help further our children's education. Each member counts and each member has a voice.

Why Should I Join the PTSA?

Get Connected. There's no better way to know what's happening in your school.

Help Your Child Succeed. PTSA fosters parent involvement. Parent involvement has been proven by 30 years of research to be the greatest predictor of student success.

Tap into a Network. PTSA functions provide opportunities to meet other parents and teachers, build rapport, and discuss parenting issues that are important to you.

Speak Up. Because PTSA is a forum for exchanging ideas, you are encouraged to make suggestions and more effectively suggest change at your child's school.

Witness Improvement. By getting involved at your child's school you'll be part of the solution, helping to make positive changes. PTSAs play an important role in fundraising to provide building improvements, curriculum-based programs, and social events all vital to a school's success.
