President’s Message
Welcome back to our returning families, and to our new families, welcome to our proud Mustang community! I hope this new school year finds you and your children rested, relaxed and ready to start an exciting and successful school adventure!
Membership is vital to our PTSA. It not only helps us support our own programs, but part of each membership helps California and National PTAs to continue fighting for kids and families in our state and federal governments. Here at Meadowbrook, your membership also helps us provide our school with programs and services that simply would not exist otherwise: Student Recognition End of Year Event, Career Fair, Honor Roll and Above the Crowd, the 7th and 8th Grade End of Year Events, Mustang Plus, Reflections, Volunteer Recognition, Staff Appreciation and much more. The whole family is welcome and encouraged to join and show their support!
In addition, we ask that you make a donation to our main fundraising event that allows us to provide your student with over 22 programs. With a PTSA MONEY FOR MUSTANGS donation, 100% of your tax-deductible contribution goes directly to benefit our students and school. We welcome donations of every size – no donation is too small. If you are able to make a larger donation, we have special rewards for $50, $100 and $200 contributions. See the membership/donation form in your registration packet or front office more information.
With your support, the PTSA can continue to make Meadowbrook a welcoming community with vibrant parent involvement. Your contribution, whether it is your time, knowledge, or resources do make a difference. Thank you for helping in any way you can, and showing your children the importance you place on their education.

The mission of the Meadowbrook PTSA is to provide programs and events that enrich the education of our students, and to create a closer relationship between home and school by fostering student, parent, and staff involvement and engagement. We also strive to create an atmosphere of tolerance and acceptance within our diverse community of students, families, and staff.

Four Important Things About PTSA
PTSA is a powerful advocate for family involvement. Over three decades of research shows that the single most effective element in a student's success if the involvement of family members in the student's education.
Members are the strength of our organization. Active and informed members make positive decisions that affect the welfare and education of youth locally, statewide and nationally. Everyone can be a member at any PTSA. The more members enrolled in PTSA, the more powerful our voice.
You are important to us. It is important to the PTSA that you, as a parent, understand the benefits of PTSA. Attending PTSA meetings is an opportunity to keep families informed and the school community about PTSA priorities and the issues that affect our children.
Our community is our greatest asset. As advocates for all children and youth, the PTSA is most effective when we value all members of our communities by seeing the uniqueness of each individual and working to build strong representation from all groups
