MISSION STATEMENT:
Our mission is to empower the students for the choices and challenges concerning positive behaviors toward wellness that will last a lifetime.

WE VALUE: Being fit for life.

WE BELIEVE: Physical education is the engine that drives the spirit of Meadowbrook Middle School. The Meadowbrook Physical Education Program is based on a comprehensive wellness program that includes: self responsibility, self esteem and emotional growth, Multicultural awareness and acceptance, mental health, social development, academic success, teamwork, skill development, and a healthy environment.

DRUG EDUCATION PROGRAM  All physical education students receive a drug education unit. The drug education curriculum focuses on providing information concerning the dangers of drugs and developing social and refusal goals. We believe when students have knowledge of the negative effects and results of using drugs, they have the power to make good choices.

John Wooden Sportsmanship Pledge:
I will be a good sport whether I win or I lose.
No whining, complaining, or making excuses.
I'll always keep trying, One hundred percent
To give my best effort in every event.

LOST AND FOUND Items are cleaned out of the locker room every month. Students are encouraged to periodically check for their belongings.

PARENTS ARE  WELCOME to come and observe and/or participate with their children’s classes.

ALL QUESTIONS Regarding the Meadowbrook P.E. program should be directed to the physical education teachers at the school.
